Then come to join the operation “shoe box” organized by the ASBL Samaritans
Our charity already distributed 2,850, 6,265 and 7355 shoe-boxes-gifts, respectively in 2006, 2007 and 2008, to the most needed persons from the Central train station, to the "Restaurants du Coeur" and some other charities operating for the same cause.
This year again, our charity "The Samaritans" is putting together "shoe-box initiative". This consists in filling in a regular shoe-box with some goodies such as :
some articles, such as :
Just wrap up this box, as a gift, and add some Season's greetings, to the beneficiary.
This shoe-box will be offered to a homeless person or a resourceless family in the Central tain station.
This is an original idea really easy to make up that you may want to advertise in your company or at your children's school for instance !

- various biscuits, chocolate, candies
- canned food easy to open (not to be warmed up and openable without can opener)
- fruit salads
- fish
- meat
- salads
- rice pudding
- soft drinks
- etc.
Just wrap up this box, as a gift, and add some Season's greetings, to the beneficiary.

For the needy person's pets, some pet food and goodies are also appreciated. Thanks not to wrap this up in a shoe-box but just to put it in a separate bag.
